Community Impact & Educational Initiatives in Tampa Bay
Bringing Real Pelvic Health Education Where People Move, Train, and Grow
At the Women & Girls Pelvic Health Institute, our work doesn't stop at our clinic doors. Real change happens when we bring clear, clinical-grade education directly into local fitness studios, sports teams, schools, and community groups across the entire Tampa Bay region.

Education for the Next Generation
Bringing evidence-based pelvic health education and shame-free body literacy into schools, youth groups, and campus organizations to build confidence to last a lifetime.
Girlhood Events & Period Parties
Curated, private small-group events designed for mothers, caregivers, and their daughters navigating puberty together in welcoming local spaces (boutiques, cafes, and private community venues).
A shame-free environment to learn about body changes, period tracking, and navigating menstrual product options with confidence.
Teaching families how to recognize early signs of severe period pain (dysmenorrhea), pelvic floor tension, and when to seek proactive care.
School Seminars
Designed for physical education classes, health programs, and middle/high school athletic departments across Tampa Bay, our evidence-based educational programming equips youth, teachers, and coaches with clear, shame-free body literacy.
Interactive workshops for student-athletes and school initiatives on period health, cycle tracking, preventing exercise-induced leakage, and understanding core and pelvic health.
Practical guidance for youth coaches and PE teachers on how female adolescent physiology impacts training, recognizing signs of severe period pain (dysmenorrhea), and supporting student-athletes effectively.
University Engagements & Guest Speaking
We deliver guest lectures, interactive workshops, and speaking engagements for university classes, campus sororities, and graduate-level healthcare programs in our initiative to empower young adults and tomorrow’s leaders on:
Introducing graduate and undergraduate healthcare students of all genders to pelvic health practice, clinical career paths, and treating specialized populations.
Practical, evidence-based education on pelvic wellness, core mechanics, and body literacy tailored for campus organizations and young women navigating adulthood.
Elevating Pelvic Health in Fitness & Athletics
Bladder leakage, period pain, and pelvic discomfort should never be the accepted trade-off for elite sports performance, high-level fitness, or a daily Pilates practice.
For Fitness Professionals, Studios, & Sports Teams
Building on our specialized pelvic and core health workshops for local fitness instructors, we offer custom studio trainings, coach clinics, and staff education tailored to your discipline.
Equip instructors to move beyond basic "belly button to spine" cues with dynamic diaphragm and pelvic floor integration, giving them the tools to cue deeper core support and safely prevent client injury.
Learning to spot and correct exercise-induced muscle gripping, rib-flaring, and chronic hyper-bracing that leads to pain and dysfunction.
Provide safe exercise modifications so clients experiencing pelvic health or diastasis recti concerns can continue participating in class or sport with clear guidance on when to refer to a clinical specialist for collaboration.
Community Give-Back & Menstrual Equity
Clinical leadership means advocating to ensure life-changing health education and resources become accessible to every young person in our community, regardless of financial circumstance.
Too many young girls suffer through debilitating period cramps, bladder leakage, or pelvic pain simply because they are told it is "normal," or because no one taught them how their bodies work. We are committed to bridging the gap in healthcare equity across Tampa Bay by building dedicated pro-bono give-back initiatives and community partnerships.
Our Community Commitments
Bringing expertise and shame-free education directly to young people with honesty, warmth, and age-appropriate clarity about anatomy, period health, and pelvic floor function.
Partnering to help supply essential menstrual products and body literacy materials to under-resourced youth populations.
Educating community leaders, coaches, and organizers to recognize red-flag symptoms so no young athlete or student suffers in silence.
